Our love story began in an unexpected place – a dating website – on August 17, 2019. Quite the surprise, we admit!

A conversation that stretched into hours led us to our first in-person meeting at Oldfield's in Culver City. The sparks flew, and the connection was undeniable. A single date was all it took for us to decide on a daring escapade to Solvang for a weekend.

The following weekend we spent some time walking around an antique car show, trying new restaurants, and exploring the quaint little town of Solvang. That romantic weekend set the tone for the chapters that followed…

During the next few months, we spent time getting to know each other's local friends & families. Much to our happiness, we were both greeted with open arms and acceptance on both sides.

When COVID hit in 2020, we decided to drive across the country to quarantine with Carolina's family on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We had a lot of fun exploring the area together, and we really bonded during that time. When we returned to California later that year, we moved in together in Culver City.

In February 2021, we moved to Hermosa Beach, California, and enjoyed living beachfront for a year. During that time, Carolina continued working in TV commercial production, and Dragan worked in the transportation industry, driving cross-country. Living by the ocean was a very special time — we loved experiencing that “California dream” together, and made some great memories with our wonderful friends and family in the area.

One of the things we love the most about each other is our unwavering support. We're always there for each other and are always up for an adventure. Whether it's embarking on a road trip, trying a new restaurant, or exploring a new city, we'll be by each other's side.

In March 2022, we decided it was time to start establishing roots closer to Carolina's crazy family. We found our house on Cape Cod and closed on it mid-November 2022. We've been busy building our cozy home since then, but have also been enjoying spending time with family and friends.

On August 22, 2023, we took a motorcycle ride to a new restaurant for us to try, one of our favorite things to do. Dinner was lovely, but we weren’t quite ready for the night to end, so we headed to a favorite bar for a nightcap. Before heading home, Dragan wanted to make one more stop at Veteran's Beach in Hyannis. Sitting by the ocean as the clock ticked over to 22:22, Dragan asked Carolina to continue building a life together as one, and she said yes to forever.

We're so excited to start this new chapter together and can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
